The Chicago Advertising Federation is proud to announce our 2022 Rising Stars: Kelsey Eliason, Lacey Gilbert, Anya Pshenychny, and Dominique “Dom” Robinson! Kelsey Eliason is an Associate Creative Director, Copy, with Arc Worldwide in Chicago and she recently closed a long chapter of freelancing as the parenting brand Frida Baby’s main copywriter. Kelsey leads biweekly guided meditations and hosts the Publicis Groupe podcast, Unmute, where she holds honest and open discussions related to mental health in the advertising and marketing industry. Kelsey’s mission is to help her team and other creatives feel supported, challenged and seen through the mental hurdles that come with working in such a brain-based, high-performance industry.
Lacey Gilbert is a VP, Strategy Director for Leo Burnett Chicago, specializing in data-driven creative concept development, trend analysis and insights. She brings a passion for consumer insights and expertise in comms planning and social strategy along with cross-disciplinary knowledge from her background as a media buyer/planner to her work. She co-developed Strategy Launchpad, a how-to guide for people—newbies or industry veterans alike—that are curious about getting into strategy or building their skills. Due to popular demand and efficacy, Strategy Launchpad is now embedded within Leo Burnett employee training.
Anya Pshenychny is an Account Executive of Programmatic Sales at Paramount. Anya is a media sales executive with 10 years experience building strategic partnerships spanning programmatic, digital, social, influencer, experiential and linear. Born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, Anya and her family immigrated to the United States in 1994. While much of her childhood was spent as an undocumented immigrant, Anya and her family proudly obtained their green cards in 2005 and their citizenships in 2012. Anya served as the second CAF YP President, increasing programming and profitability during her tenure.
Dominique “Dom” Robinson is a proud Chicago-native and creative change agent who has spent the last decade building brands and relationships across some of your favorites like Kellogg’s, Coca-Cola, NCAA Final Four, Mondelez, OREO, Procter & Gamble, Allstate and most recently, Kraft-Heinz, to name a few. Known as a foodie to many, Dominique developed the Cooking Live with Lyric, cooking class for working professionals to build confidence in the kitchen. She’s partnered with several non-profit organizations to help tackle food insecurity and encourage families to embrace healthier food options.
